A satisfied smile grew on his features as he noticed how fast she jumped from the stool. Although he didn’t know if he should follow her or just remain in his frantic routine, something made him just walk along the counters to get out of the bar. In the meantime, he decided to just encourage her to do what he thought it was reasonable.
Taking some messy strands of dark hair out of his forehead in a loose motion, the boy looked around again, to check if the doorway was still clear - until her voice finally get to his ears, loud and clear. He let a small chuckle escape his lips at her question. “I already got in a hundred types of trouble today, I guess just one more wouldn’t hurt.”
To show her that it didn’t really matter to him, Taemin walked along the counters, motioning for her to follow him. He was about to leave the bar when he turned back on his heels to face her again. ”… In any case, don’t be too loud out there, hm? It’s a simple park lot but some people don’t like to see it as an extension of the club.” He said, placing a thin index finger on his lips and stepping out of her way to the staff’s area.
His chuckle confuses her, and it shows on her face by the frown that covered both her forehead and her crimson lips. The girl just didn’t understand how it was possible to remain so calm, with this amused expression when as if he said, he had had so many troubles.
“Shouldn’t you avoid one more especially because of this?” She wanted to add she wasn’t special enough to get him in more troubles, and that he should take more care, but the words weren’t found at the right moment and when she saw his gesture for her to shut up, it was too late.
The mermaid doesn’t even realize they had been walking together, side from side, away from the bar’s counter and into some kind of dark place, probably still inside the bar. When he walks out of the way, she takes some steps forward, suspicious eyes following him and the colorful drink still between her pale palms.
She’s about to walk inside the so said park lot when her eyes fall on the drink, and her frown is suddenly back – not because she was worried because of him, because she wasn’t anymore, not anymore, and instead because he is too smiley and too good. And she was supposed to be suspicious over this…right?
“Wait a minute!” She exclaims suddenly, stopping on her tracks. With a quick movement, Soojung turns around and pushes the drink to his hand, and she presses her hand to the glass so he wouldn’t be able to move it. “Then drink this. And if you’re not worried about troubles, go inside first. Go and I’ll wait.”
